Bethany de Forest
Stereorama
In Stereorama, the third solo show at KochxBos Gallery, Bethany de Forest focuses on her experiments with stereophotography and optical illusion techniques such as lenticular and Pepper's Ghost. She has definitely sought the limits of these techniques to give her work a visual and virtual boost, the art is literally moving.
With this, Forest is taking a new route to portray its detailed scale models. Art and science touch each other in Stereorama, with a magical result.
See you in gallery, as the magic is best experienced live...

Public guerilla intervention
by Dadara
31 October, 2018 @ 7 AM a 27 x 3 x 3 meter fence was placed around the 'iamsterdam monument' in front of the RijksMuseum. Now that most cultural free spaces are gone, artists should be free to start transforming public space into free space.

KunstRai 2018
Claire Partington, Ray Caesar, Zoé Byland and Meryl Donoghue
We are extremely proud to present our artists in an exhibition that brings together four master visual storytellers in the center of the KunstRAI.
Claire Partington built a name for herself world wide with big, historical ceramic figures that sure comment on our time. Meryl Donoghue contributes to the exhibition with life-sized photographic works: dark literary tales with an open ending. We're launching an exclusive collection of brand new works by Ray Caesar, master of the delicate suspense and last but not least we're presenting new works by Zoé Byland, monochromatic paintings in an atmosphere of film noir, mixed with pop culture and science fiction icons.

Welkom!

Dadara
Open your mind - So we can use your data
The ultimate Dadara book: this beautifully crafted hardcover edition by Dadara and KochxBos Publishers is a record of his full body of work.
From the Dadababy speakers, to the massive installations during the Burning Man Festival in Nevada, USA to Greyman Statue of No Liberty.
Hence this astonishing book, which is a truly collaborative creation. It took a full year to select the best work and the wildest ideas, resulting in this career-spanning retrospective. We are very grateful that Elizabeth Scarborough and Gert van Veen contributed with their aticles to this book. This body of work is a wonderful overview of Dadara’s art through the years and a small glimpse into the mind of its creator.

Review Creative Boom
Wanna have creative inspiration in Amsterdam?
Check out this blog, we're at number 4 :-)
"There are many big art museums in Amsterdam (and we’ll get to those in a second), but if you’re interested in contemporary art then you’ll also want to check out some of the hipper independent galleries. And you don’t get much cooler than KochxBos.
Although it’s a tiny place, you can feel the spirit of cutting-edge art flow through you as you peruse some pretty amazing artwork."
